Meet the Team
TANYA
the Perfectly Flawed Woman.
For the past decade, travel has been a priority. Visiting foreign lands, witnessing how people live in other countries, the beauty of our planet, the food!!
My husband and I have created a lot of freedom in our lives by taking the untraditional route of unschooling our children. It’s been an amazing life allowing us to travel extensively as a family, with groups, and in 2016 I took my first Solo trip… two months in India… launching me into knowing myself with greater depth.
For years now I’ve heard how others have been living vicariously through travel images and stories I share. As grateful as I am to have created a life of travel and community, I want to share that with you. It’s time to Make Travel Happen!
Come Travel with Me!
JOANNA
I am a woman, a mom, a wife, a traveler and so much more.
At age 37, my husband and I decided to find our someday by making travel a priority in our lives.. From that point on, our choices were collectively made with the intention to travel the world with our 3 children.
Now at age 45, I have traveled with my family to 3 continents and 23 countries. Though the path was not always smooth or easy it has shaped who we are as individuals and as a family. What we have learned about ourselves and each other is one of my favourite parts of travel. Followed very closely of course by the new people, new cultures, new places, new smells, and who can forget new foods. .
In April 2019, I made another leap and traveled solo with Tanya to Morocco. This was my first trip without my family and while I missed them, it was a whole new kind of travel for me. This trip gave me time to grow and stretch in new ways. It was solely about me and my unique experiences.
I knew as soon as I returned that I wanted to be a part of Tanya’s travel business. I wanted to be present as women discovered the feeling of carving out time for themselves thru travel. It is a gift that can feed the soul in so many new ways. This is the type of travel Tanya is offering. I am truly honored to be a part of the journey.
Also, while I have had many travel experiences, I remember what it was like when I first started. I felt excitement but also a lot of trepidation. I also know the feeling of when you begin to open yourself up to new experiences and it becomes a glow, Or the feeling when you start to trust yourself and others. Wow, it’s exciting!
Experiences make up who I am, so I seek to attract the ones that bring me truest joy.
NATASHA
I’m a 43-year old artist, mother, and wife. I travel often, mostly with my 4-year old daughter and husband. We are a blended family, so travel occasionally includes our three older children as well.
Over the years, we have learned how to best find affordable air travel deals, mostly allowing those deals to dictate where we travel. Traveling this way has taken us to places we wouldn’t have necessarily chosen, but so glad were led there. Dubai, Azores, and Tanzania for example.
Traveling for me is about food and culture mostly. A good bit of time is focused on local food markets, grocery stores, and restaurants. As a fellow artist, I also enjoy experiencing the local art, and exploring different neighborhoods.
We bring our toddler everywhere. She was in St. Barths as a 6-month old, Dubai at 1-year, and Africa (3-day Safari, and Zanzibar) for two weeks, at age 4. She loves travel as much as we do. The mere mention of it gets her excited!
